incoming luck. Windows and doors will be decorated with red color paper-cuts and couplets with popular themes of “happiness”、“wealth” and “longevity”.
First Day
Reunion dinner is on New Year's Eve where family members get together to celebrate. Dinner have to have fish but intentionally not eaten up completely because from a pun which could mean "be blessed every year" or "have profit every year".
The family will end the night with firecrackers. The next morning, children will greet their parents by wishing them a healthy and happy new year and receive money in red

For married daughters to visit their parents.
Lantern Festival
Tangyuan made with rice dumplings a sweet rice ball in a sweet soup, is eaten this day.
Children walk the street carrying lighted lanterns.
